I first became acquainted with this man through the American Publishers of his Trilogy on the PBS program CHARLIE ROSE.
The female editor left me in a quandry about what she was trying to say about Mr. Larrson. Why did he die---according to the above statements--he died under normal circumstances from a coronary. However the editor seem to imply that he was a gay man who had recieved death threats not only over his anti-racist writings but also simply because he was a gay man who never married his partner supposedly because at that time Sweden did not recognize same sex marriages. However, it has been my understanding that Swedish Law recognized and granted same sex marriages since shortly after Denmark did back in the 1970s. What is the truth here about Mr Larsson? Also I would like to know why he was given the name Steven (or Stephan) on this program which made finding information about him very difficult---was only able to find it as result of searching under the titles of his books. I would appreciate being told the answers to these questions especially why he died from a coronary, if true, since Sweden has an excellent socialized Health care system and it is well know how to avoid making oneself a target for this illnes.

Yeah, I noticed that one. They write about it in Norwegian "Dagbladet" and Swedish "Dagens Nyheter" as well. However, I don't want to add to the status of this rumor by writing about it - I think there is much evidence that indicates that it is wrong.
