Sorry – I was only able to see the first of the three movies sent here in the US. I’ve been hoping to catch a rerun but haven’t so far. I thought the first one was really great. I finally saw one of the Swedish-language Wallender TV programmes, the second - Mastermind. I thought the first part much better than the English-language (Branagh) versions but I truly hated the mysogeny and "female torture porn" of the last part. It was so awful that I seriously doubt I will watch more of the series. I wonder if Mankell wrote it or had any creative control over that part? The plot was sacrificed for these gruesome aspects, a real disaster in my view. Thanks for this news, I am looking forward to this one.
