I agree, this is great news as the USA is not renowned for taking much notice of translated fiction (Stieg Larsson and Henning Mankell are welcome exceptions - Karin Fossum perhaps, also). I have enjoyed the three Nessers I've read so far - the only ones translated and on sale in the UK so far as I know - not including this one. The author will be at Crime Fest this year (Bristol, June) so I'm looking forward to hearing him talk about his writing. I particularly love the humour in his books.
